SEN Outreach Worker
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a SEN Outreach Worker to join Calderdale Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Duties Deliver high-quality, targeted interventions for children and young people with SEND, particularly within communication and language Work directly with children on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting development and engagement Create and adapt specialist resources and intervention programmes tailored to individual needs Support schools and settings to implement effective SEND strategies and best practice Build strong relationships with schools, families, and multi-agency professionals Provide advice, guidance, and training to education staff to build capacity within settings Monitor progress and contribute to reports, reviews, and EHCP processes Support early identification of needs and help remove barriers to learning Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEND, ideally within an education setting Strong understanding of Communication and Language needs (CandL) Experience delivering structured interventions and creating learning resources Knowledge of specific learning needs such as dyslexia, working memory, or processing difficulties Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you. ..... full job details .....
