This will be a full time long term SEN Mentor position, with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this SEN Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities for this SEN Mentor role will include but not be limited to: Supporting a Year 10 male pupil with ADHD on a 1:1 basis in classes and intervention sessionsWorking with teachers to ensure the student''s learning needs are identified Attending to the student''s social, emotional and personal needs when requiredManaging the pupils behaviour and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this SEN Mentor position will be between 82.14 to 100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The School An ''Outstanding'' Secondary School and Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
