Secondary Maths Teacher / Tutor - Alternative ProvisionRole: Maths Teacher / TutorLocation: TotnesVacancy: Full-time, permanent vacancyStart date: 01/09/2026Salary: 27,510 to 36,300 per annum (depending on experience)Timeplan Education are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to work within a SEN provision in Totnes.The school is well established and has an incredibly supportive leadership team. Supporting primary and secondary age pupils with complex SEMH, ASC and ADHD, the school is well staffed with a strong team of LSAs, advocates, tutors, family support workers and an outreach team. In addition to the standard curriculum, many pupils also take vocational subjects , setting them up for future apprenticeship roles.Most pupils learn at primary level so for this role it is essential that you have experience of teaching Maths at primary and secondary levels. In addition, it is essential that you have experience of working with complex SEMH or trauma within a resilient environment.The school are keen to find a Maths Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire SEN pupils to achieve their best.
