You will support a group of pupils in Year 2 during the morning and Year 6 in the afternoon, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals.As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils with ASD and SEMH needs across Year 2 in the morning and Year 6 in the afternoon.Working with small groups of children to support their learning, engagement and development.Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and adapting tasks to meet individual learning needs.Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, social development and positive behaviour.Using consistent approaches to help manage challenging behaviour and promote positive relationships.Creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment where pupils feel safe and supported.Encouraging pupils to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills.Working collaboratively with ..... full job details .....
