Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs?Are you patient, resilient and confident in helping students overcome barriers to learning?Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a rewarding education role?We are looking for a dedicated SEN LSA to join a supportive school environment in Chelmsford, helping students with additional needs to access their education, develop their confidence and achieve their individual goals.As an SEN LSA, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other education professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. This may include supporting students with autism, ADHD, communication and interaction difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, learning difficulties and other additional needs.Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small-group support, assisting students with classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and helping learners develop greater independence. You will play an important role in creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported and able to participate.The successful candidate will be compassionate, patient and able to build strong relationships with children and young people. You should be confident working as part of a wider team while also being able to use your own initiative when supporting individual students.Previous experience working ..... full job details .....
