We have opportunities available to suit your lifestyle, including long-term positions, short-term contracts and day-to-day supply.As an SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.Your role will include:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other additional needs.Using a variety of communication and intervention strategies, including PECS, Makaton, visual timetables and sensory approaches where appropriate.Promoting positive behaviour through consistent behaviour management techniques and de-escalation ..... full job details .....
