SEN Learning Support AssistantWest London ASAP start£107-120 per dayVeritas Education is partnering with SEN schools across West London to recruit Learning Support Assistants to make a real difference supporting students with special educational needs and learning difficulties. These are full-time, term-time positions, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.We are looking for candidates with experience supporting students in an educational setting, particularly those with SEN or additional needs. A solid understanding of SEN and learning difficulties-gained through professional experience or academic study-is highly desirable.Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support Assistant:Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.Work proactively to help students meet their academic goals.Encourage and motivate students to actively engage in their learning.Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.Support the teacher in general learning and student development.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A strong understanding of special educational needs (SEN).Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students.Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.Reliability and a commitment to supporting students'' progress.Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and independently when required.A relevant degree and training in SEN are an advantage, as well as experience working ..... full job details .....
