This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young people overcome barriers to learning and who wants to play an important role in supporting pupils with additional needs. About the Role Working as part of the school''s wider support team, you will provide practical, academic and pastoral assistance to pupils who require additional support. You will be involved in: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups Helping children engage with lessons and access the wider curriculum Providing encouragement and reassurance to pupils who may lack confidence Supporting pupils with their individual learning targets and support plans Helping children develop independence and positive learning habits Promoting appropriate behaviour and positive relationships Supporting pupils with social, emotional and communication needs Adapting activities and resources to suit individual learning requirements Liaising with teachers and the SENCO regarding pupil progress Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment where every pupil can succeed What We''re Looking For We are keen to hear from candidates who are empathetic, patient and proactive, ..... full job details .....
