Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Reading.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support due to a variety of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You may work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping students to access learning and reach their full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils with SEN in both classroom and intervention settingsAssist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activitiesHelp manage behaviour in line with school policiesFoster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentMonitor and report on student progress and wellbeingRequirementsExperience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)A patient, empathetic, and proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsRelevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are desirableEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What Teaching ..... full job details .....
