Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners in a nurturing primary school environment?Empowering Learning is proud to be working with schools in and around the Billingham area, and we''re on the lookout for dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our team.About the Role:You will play a vital role in supporting children on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis who need additional support and require a patient, empathetic and committed Learning Support Assistant.Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual learning needsImplementing EHCP strategies in collaboration with SENCOs and teaching staffUsing creative and adaptive approaches to engage children in the classroomSupporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategiesContributing to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentAbout You:We are looking for someone who is:Experienced in a school setting, ideally with previous work supporting children with SENConfident and compassionate, with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with childrenResilient and proactive, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentKnowledgeable about safeguarding and child developmentComfortable supporting with personal care, where ..... full job details .....
