Make a Difference Every DayEmpowering Learning is currently recruiting compassionate, motivated, and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work within a variety of mainstream schools, specialist provisions, and alternative education settings across Northumberland.This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with additional needs, enabling them to engage in learning, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially.The RoleAs an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needsSupport learners with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficultiesAssist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activitiesPromote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingEncourage independence, confidence, and social developmentBuild positive relationships with pupils, families, and school staffSupport learners both within the classroom and during wider school activitiesWe Are Looking ForCandidates who:Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care, youth work, residential care, or support settingsAre patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approachHave a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needsPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCan adapt to the varying needs of individual pupilsAre committed to safeguarding and promoting ..... full job details .....
