SEN Learning Support Assistants (x4) - Basingstoke - Immediate Start

We are seeking four committed and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist educational setting in Basingstoke. These roles are available for an immediate start and are offered on a long-term basis, with a minimum commitment of 3 months.

You will be supporting students with a range of complex needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a highly rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and wellbeing of young learners in a nurturing environment.

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (minimum 3 months)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to students with MLD, SLD, and PMLD
• Assist with classroom activities and learning plans
• Support students with personal care and mobility needs where required
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
