Assist class teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and adapting resources to meet individual needs. Support pupils in developing communication, social, and emotional skills using structured and positive strategies. Encourage independence, resilience, and engagement in learning through consistent support and encouragement. Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists. Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment for all students.Requirements: Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs, ideally ASD (in schools, care, or youth settings). Understanding of autism, sensory processing differences, and communication challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic approach.
