SEN Humanities Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 3 SEN Humanities Teacher to join a specialist provision in Ealing. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, differentiated Humanities lessons to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting both academic progress and personal development in a structured and inclusive learning environment.Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmKey Stage 3 SEN Humanities Teacher- Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver differentiated KS3 Humanities lessons (History, Geography, RE and/or related subjects) tailored to students with SEND.Support learners with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties.Adapt curriculum content, resources, and teaching strategies to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students.Develop and implement individual learning plans aligned with EHCP targets.Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement and curiosity.Monitor, assess, and record student progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents/carers.Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support emotional regulation and learning.Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals.Encourage student independence, confidence, and critical thinking skills.Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, and inclusion at all times.Key Stage 3 SEN ..... full job details .....
