GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Humanities Teacher to work in supportive schools and specialist provisions across Medway, delivering engaging Humanities lessons tailored to students with Special Educational Needs.About the Role:As a SEN Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering adapted Humanities lessons, including subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education, to students with a range of SEN needs. You will work closely with support staff and SEN professionals to ensure lessons are accessible, structured, and supportive, helping students to build confidence, knowledge, and key life skills.Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated Humanities lessons in line with the curriculum and individual learning needsTeach students on a one-to-one, small group, or whole-class basis, depending on provision needsAdapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or learning difficultiesManage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environmentWork collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teamsMonitor, assess, and record student ..... full job details .....
