Therapeutic Educational PractitionerDaily Rate: £110 - £125Location: East LondonJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Educational Practitioner to join our team, working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people. A background in sports can be advantageous but is not essential.Day-to-day of the role:Implement educational and therapeutic interventions to support children with challenging behaviours.Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with children, helping them to achieve their educational and personal goals.Utilise a variety of strategies tailored to individual needs to promote positive behaviour and engagement.Collaborate with other professionals such as teachers, therapists, and family members to plan and coordinate effective support.Monitor and record children''s progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimise outcomes.Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in therapeutic education.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience working with children, particularly those who exhibit challenging behaviours.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Resilient and patient, with a compassionate approach.Background in sports is beneficial but not mandatory.Benefits:Competitive daily rate.Opportunities for ..... full job details .....
