Location: Near Ipswich (approximately 15 minutes from Ipswich Town Centre) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: Up to £28,597 per annum Hours: Full-TimeMake a Difference Every DayWe are recruiting for a passionate and resilient Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or qualified HLTA seeking a rewarding role where they can have a genuine impact on the lives of young people who require additional support to succeed both academically and personally.The RoleWorking closely with teachers and the wider school team, you will support the delivery of engaging learning experiences, helping pupils overcome barriers to education and achieve positive outcomes.The role is varied and rewarding, requiring someone who is adaptable, patient, and able to build strong relationships with pupils who may present with complex needs and challenging behaviours.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport teaching and learning within the classroom and through small-group interventions.Deliver planned learning activities and lessons when required.Support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and other SEND needs.Implement and monitor individual support plans and EHCP targets.Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and ..... full job details .....
