SEN HLTA Leeds 29,748 September Start Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking for an outstanding HLTA to support one of our local SEN schools. The role will be working within a SEN school supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The school itself is easily accessible via car and public transport and has a fantastic reputation. You will need to be able to quickly build rapport with young children who are often disengaged with education. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff. Lead wholeclass, small-group, and one-to-one interventions to support learning and development. Adapt teaching resources and strategies to meet individual pupil needs and learning styles. Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and other professionals. Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and behaviour support plans.
