SEN English TeacherJob Title: SEN English TeacherLocation: SEN Secondary school EppingJob Type: Full-time (5 days a week)Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30pmStart Date: After October Half TermRole Overview:I am looking for an experienced English Teacher who has extensive SEN and SEMH experience to join an intimate team of teachers within an SEN school in Epping.This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional and complex needs. You will help them learn, build confidence and achieve their fullest potential. This is a rewarding role in which you will gain a lot of hands on experienceKey Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.Teach pupils between the ages of 11-18.Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities.Create a safe, structured, comfortable and supportive learning environment.Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progressWork closely with SEN support staff, therapists and wider school teams.Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations.Support positive behavior management across the classroom.Candidates Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)PGCE or Equivalent trainingExperience in SEN education (Secondary preferred)Strong classroom managementPatient, resilient, adaptable approachAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamEnhanced DBS check (or ..... full job details .....
