We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Education Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Trowbridge (BA14) this September.About the RoleAs an SEN Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the class teacher with teaching assistant dutiesProviding 1:1 and small group supportAssisting with behaviour management strategiesDelivering sensory support and interventionsSupporting pupils with a range of needs, including communication and social developmentProviding personal care, where requiredRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:A full UK driving licence (essential)An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Experience working with children or young people in either a formal or informal setting, such as:Schools or education settingsSupport/care workYouth workChurch or community groupsAfter-school or holiday clubsSummer camps or similar environmentsA patient, resilient, and nurturing attitudeA genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needsWhat We OfferCompetitive daily pay: £92-£105Weekly pay ..... full job details .....
