SEN Classroom Support

ABC Teachers is looking for skilled SEN Classroom Support to join a specialist SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis. About the role: Develop strong, professional relationships with the pupils to understand their range of complex needs and how best to assist them in school.Ability to work confidently with students with a range of Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs from years 7 to 9.Prepare the classroom for learning and assist the class teacher with the delivery of planned lessons. Assess and monitor student s progress, using assessments from their home schools and robust baseline diagnosis, aiming to reduce the impact of their medical conditions on their educational outcomes.Work with both small groups and 1:1 with students when required.Encourage student participation and performance.Full time position available for an immediate start, with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
