SEN Class Teacher (SEMH/SEND)Full-Time Long-Term Cover / Temp-to-Perm September 2026 StartProspero Teaching is working in partnership with a specialist SEN/SEMH School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth. The school supports primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), developmental and medical needs.Due to continued growth, the school is recruiting for several teaching positions across its different sites. Successful candidates will be matched to the setting and age group most suited to their experience and specialism.The provision supports pupils with complex SEMH needs, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, mental health needs, medical needs, and those who have struggled to access mainstream education, including permanently excluded pupils. Small class sizes allow staff to build positive relationships and provide the personalised support pupils need to achieve both academically and personally.The RoleAs an SEN Class Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that support pupils'' academic progress, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
