Role Overview Manage EHC needs assessments for a specific locality, handling approximately 250 children. Ensure statutory processes are followed, including assessments, reviews, and transitions. Provide advice to parents, schools, and professionals aligned with legislation and policies. Maintain accurate records on SEN databases and case files. Key Responsibilities Conduct statutory assessments within 20-week timescales, including preparing reports and amendments. Lead annual reviews, monitor progress, and coordinate transition plans. Authorise transport for children with SEN, following policy guidelines. Manage day-to-day casework, prioritise tasks, and ensure consistency across cases.
