SEN Budget and Recoupment OfficerWembley-Based Local Authority Location: Wembley (Hybrid) Start: ASAP Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Pay: £20.08 per hour PAYE / £26.44 per hour Umbrella Enhanced DBS RequiredWe are seeking an experienced SEN Budget and Recoupment Officer to support a busy Local Authority SEN Finance Team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the monitoring and forecasting of SEN budgets.Manage SEN funding recoupment for out-of-borough pupils with EHC Plans.Process SEN payments for Brent pupils attending Brent and out-of-borough schools.Raise purchase orders, process invoices and ensure timely payments.Maintain accurate financial records and databases.Produce reports using Oracle Cloud, Excel, Power BI and other systems.Liaise with schools, parents, providers and other Local Authorities.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and Council policies.Essential Requirements Knowledge of SEN funding, processes and procedures Knowledge of financial regulations AAT or ACCA qualified/part-qualified Experience within SEN, education finance, school funding or Local Authority finance Strong Excel and reporting skills (Oracle Cloud experience desirable) Experience working with complex financial data and meeting deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsApply NowCandidates must have relevant SEN finance, budget monitoring, recoupment or education funding experience to be considered.Immediate interviews available. ..... full job details .....
