Job Summary
We are seeking a Semi Skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks with a focus on quality and safety. Duties

• Carry out TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and fabricated components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and fabricate parts according to specifications
• Assist in the cutting, shaping, and fitting of metal components for assembly
• Perform basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths skills to ensure precision
• Support the assembly process by fitting parts together accurately
• Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and tools
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Experience

• Previous experience in TIG/Mig welding,
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of sheet metal work and mechanical assembly processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints is desirable
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and maths relevant to fabrication tasks
• Experience working with welding equipment and performing basic maintenance or troubleshooting is advantageous
