Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator based in the Middleton, North Manchester.

The successful candidate will be joining a sheet metal and fabrication company who are well established in the industry. -In this role you will be working across diverse sectors, this role offers variety where you will be offered the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general sheet metal fabrication and assembly work.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform countersinking, tapping, spot welding and stud welding to a high standard.
• Assist with the assembly and finishing of fabricated components.
• Maintain excellent quality standards and attention to detail.
• Work effectively as part of a busy production team.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience :

• A minimum of 2 years'' experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Basic Maths and English skills.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 07:40 to 16:30/ Friday is 07:40 to 12:20.
