Job Title: Semi-Skilled Exam Technician Job Location: West Midlands Shifts: Days, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00Hourly Rate: £27 Umbrella Hours Per Week: 45 hours per week on average. Position Summary: You will be responsible for assisting in carrying out routine Examination on rolling stock units and reporting any defects or faults that you find. Ensure a safe and efficient workspace by adhering to company and health and safety policies.Key responsibilities: Assist with perform exams on units including but not limited to:o Startup testso Break testso Testing lighting (internal and external)o Battery examinationo Test fire systems and alarmso Coupler inspection Assist with basic fault finding and rectification Reporting major faults to team leader Fill out and complete reportsIdeal Candidate: A diligent professional able to work well as an individual or in a team.
