Semi-Skilled Engineering Machinist

Our client has an exciting development opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Machinist to join their team. This role offers extensive development and training to help you become fully competent with the position.The Role:Operating various machines such as Saws, Thread rollers, Lathes, Mills and a Washing Machine, you will be converting raw materials into Special Products, manufactured on time to meet customer agreed dates (CAD) and checked to drawing.Responsibilities and Duties:Operate machinery to produce precision components.Quality check finished productsCollaborate effectively with team members.Communicate clearly any problems to support team objectives.Requirements:Previous experience operating machinery is advantageous.Must be a team player.Effective communication skills.Flexible approach to work with a "CAN DO" AttitudeDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
