This is a hands-on position primarily focused on mechanical assembly, component fitting and building engineered products within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work as part of the production team, assembling mechanical components and equipment from engineering drawings, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards. Who the Role Would Suit This role would suit someone with experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, production assembly or semi-skilled engineering . You should be confident using hand tools, power tools and basic workshop machinery , with the ability to read engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions. A City & Guilds Level 1 or 2 in Engineering would be beneficial but is not essential.
