This is a varied, hands-on position working within the production/shop floor team, supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities and helping to maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Who the role would suit This role would suit someone with a basic engineering or manufacturing background who is comfortable using workshop machinery and hand tools. You should have a practical, proactive approach, be able to work from technical drawings and be happy carrying out a variety of duties across the shop floor. A City & Guilds Level 1 or 2 in Engineering would be beneficial, along with a basic understanding of mechanical assembly.
