The Role
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will join an established Accounting & Business Advisory team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
Working closely with senior colleagues, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services, building strong client relationships, and supporting businesses with their financial reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of service
- Prepare statutory financial statements for a range of business entities
- Produce accurate and timely management accounts
- Prepare personal tax returns
- Assist with the preparation of P11Ds
- Attend client meetings and build relationships with directors and business owners
- Support audit assignments where required (desirable)
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Assist with general accountancy and administrative duties as required
About You
- AAT qualified and/or currently studying towards ACA or ACCA
- Minimum of 2-3 years'' experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Iris would be advantageous
- Strong technical accounting skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to continue developing professionally
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
