An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Norwich.The Role:As an Accounts Associate, you will support the preparation of accounts and financial information for a varied portfolio of clients while developing your technical knowledge within a collaborative and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone looking to further their career within practice.Key Responsibilities:• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients.• Support the preparation of management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports.• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to routine queries.• Work closely with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.• Assist with reviewing financial information and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and continue developing your technical skills.Skills and Experience:• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT.• Previous experience within an accountancy practice or similar finance environment.• Good understanding of accounts preparation.• Strong analytical and organisational skills.• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.• Competent using Microsoft Office, with experience of Xero or other cloud accounting software desirable.• Personal tax knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.Flexible ..... full job details .....
