Semi Senior Accountant Birmingham (Hybrid) Salary up to £35,000 (DOE) Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients a well established firm based in Birmingham. Role Requirements-Assisting in the management of a small portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for ensuring their bookkeeping, management reporting, statutory accounts and any ad-hoc tasks are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis.Preparation of management accounts and reports.Preparation of VAT returns.Working with the client managers to understand the client''s requirements and identifying areas where more detailed advice may be required.Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists.Supporting junior members of staff with their training, including reviewing their bookkeeping.Preparation of billing proposals. Person Responsibilities -Minimum of 3-5 years'' experience in an Accountancy practiceICAEW/ ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or qualified by experienceCommitted to maintaining their technical knowledge to a high levelCompetent in using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelCompetent using Xero and accounting software such as Iris or similarSelf-motivated and able to apply relevant skills to new scenariosGood people and communication skills (including ..... full job details .....
