Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview Accounts Preparation Preparing statutory accounts from a range of bookkeeping standards to incomplete records, including bank reconciliations, control account reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, calculation of debtors and creditors, nominal ledger accounting, and preparing trial balance.Preparing and submitting VAT returns Maintaining accounts for clients to the required standardPersonal tax returnsCorporation tax computations Assisting the team in carrying out internal audit workDealing with client queries and liaising with HMRC on behalf of clientsAssisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts.General book-keeping on behalf of multiple clients using relevant accounting systems (including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Digita and IRIS)Visit client premises to set up and maintain book-keeping records and quarterly VAT returns and provide support to clients, who maintain their own records, using the relevant ..... full job details .....
