Semi Senior Accountant

Our client is a well- established Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Huddersfield, seeking an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing firm on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an Accountancy Practice and will be either AAT qualified or studying towards their AAT qualification - full study support available! Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior Job Overview The successful Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior will be tasked with assisting the Senior with running a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, VAT returns, preparing CT computations and SA tax returns.Preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients which is a mixture of sole traders, Limited Companies and partnershipsPreparation of Corporation Tax computations for Limited CompaniesPreparing basic Self-Assessment Tax returns Developing strong relationships with the clients within the portfolioPreparation of periodic bookkeeping and management accounts Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior Job Requirements AAT qualified or studying towards AAT qualification/ ACCA or ACA qualificationExperience within an Accountancy Practice is essentialKnowledge of sage, Xero, QuickBooks or CCH would be advantageousAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesEligible to work within the UK and based within a reasonable commute of Huddersfield Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior Salary and Benefits Salary: 27,000 - 32,000 per annum dependant on experienceHours 5 per week ..... full job details .....
