This is an essential requirement of the role, with no exceptions.Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Tutor to support children and young people who may struggle to access a traditional school environment due to social, emotional and mental health needs.This is not a traditional tutoring role. The young people you will be supporting may have challenging behaviour, low engagement, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, poor attendance or previous negative experiences of education. Building trust and establishing positive relationships will be just as important as delivering academic work.We are looking for someone who is patient, consistent, resilient and nurturing, but who can also maintain appropriate boundaries and expectations.
