The Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs. Build positive, trusting relationships with students. Support pupils to manage their emotions and develop positive behaviours. Assist with learning and encourage engagement in the classroom. Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support individual needs. Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment. Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience. About You We are looking for someone who is: Patient, empathetic and understanding. Calm and confident when managing challenging situations. Resilient and able to remain positive under pressure. Passionate about supporting children and young people.
