The setting provides a structured and nurturing environment, focusing on emotional regulation, behaviour support and helping pupils re-engage with learning in a safe and supportive way.The school is looking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support pupils across primary and secondary ages, working 1:1 and in small groups to manage behaviour, support learning and provide consistent pastoral support.The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour• A background in pastoral, youth work or alternative provision is advantageous• Team Teach training is beneficial or willingness to develop this skill• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills• A calm, patient and resilient approach• The ability to build strong relationships and engage pupils effectivelyIn return for the above ..... full job details .....
