SEMH Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health? Simply Education are currently looking for experienced and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to work at our clients primary/secondary school in the Halewood area. What you will be doing: Establishing good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectationsProvide consistent support to all pupils, responding appropriately to individual pupil needs and including the use of accredited Positive Handling techniques when necessary.Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education PlansEncourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacherProvide minimal clerical/administration support (e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, etc).Liaise sensitively and effectively with parents/carers as agreed with the teacher within role/responsibility and participate in feedback sessions/meetings with parents under teacher''s supervision.What we''re looking for:Teaching Assistant Qualification ( preferred but not essential )Experience working with children with SEMH Strong communication and interpersonal skillsBuild positive relationships with pupils and staffGenuine passion for supporting children with additional needsPerks and Benefits to you:Competitive high daily rates from 100 a dayFull permanent employment status Entitles to statutory payments such as ..... full job details .....
