SEMH Teaching Assistant

A well-regarded and supportive primary school in Camden is looking to appoint a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS2 with SEMH needs.This is a long-term opportunity starting ASAP, ideal for someone who has experience supporting children with behavioural needs and is passionate about making a difference.The Role:Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH (anxiety, emotional regulation, behaviour challenges)Implement behaviour support strategies and routinesBuild a strong, trusting relationship with the pupilWork collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agenciesSupport access to learning and encourage positive engagementThe Ideal Candidate:Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviourResilient, patient, and consistent approachConfident managing behaviour within a classroom settingA positive, proactive attitudeWhat''s on Offer:Long-term role with potential to become permanentStrong leadership and excellent SEN supportOpportunity to have a meaningful impact on a child''s developmentPay: 90 - 110 per day (depending on experience)Reeson Education:Reeson Education is the England''s Premier Recruitment Agency.
