Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant - West Sussex (Long-Term Supply) Locations: Chichester, Littlehampton, Worthing, Lancing, Burgess Hill and Crawley Start Date: Immediate start available or from September Contract: Long-term supply Pay: £120 per day - hours 8.30am to 3.30pmAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to support pupils within Alternative Provision settings across West Sussex. These roles are available on a long-term supply basis, with flexibility to start immediately or from the new academic year in September.You will be working with students who may have additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges, behavioural needs, or those who require a more tailored educational approach outside of mainstream settings.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to pupilsSupport students with behaviour management and emotional regulationBuild positive relationships to promote engagement and trustAssist in implementing individual learning and support plansWork collaboratively with teaching staff and support teamsHelp create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environmentAbout YouWe are looking for candidates who are:Passionate about supporting young people in alternative education settingsCalm, patient and able to effectively manage challenging behaviourExperienced in education, youth work, care, or similar roles (desirable but not essential)Confident working with ..... full job details .....
