Every day is different, but one thing stays the same, your support will make a real difference.What you''ll be doing:Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsWorking 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learningManaging and de-escalating challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategiesBuilding strong, trusting relationships with pupilsSupporting emotional regulation and social developmentWorking closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEND professionalsWe''re looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needsCan remain calm, patient, and consistent in challenging situationsUnderstands behaviour as communication and takes a nurturing approachHas experience in schools, alternative provisions, youth work, residential care, mentoring, or similar settingsIs confident setting boundaries while building positive relationshipsHas excellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience with any of the following would be a bonus:SEMHADHDAutismTrauma-informed ..... full job details .....
