Role - SEMH Teaching AssistantLocation - Manchester (M12)Pay - £475-£550 per week, depending on experienceStart Date - 20/04/2026Contract Type - Temp to PermAre you a calm and resilient teaching assistant with experience supporting SEMH? We are currently working with a Primary Pupil Referral Unit in Manchester to recruit for after Easter.As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:Build strong relationships with pupils, supporting 1:1 with both academic and emotional mentoringWork collaboratively with other staff members and external agencies to monitor progressAssist in preparing engaging learning resourcesExperience, Training and Qualifications:Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desired but training can be provided)Team Teach training is highly desiredPrevious experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional referencesOtherIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
