The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils through 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping them regulate behaviour, engage with learning, and develop positive routines.

A central part of this SEMH Teaching Assistant role is managing challenging behaviour using consistent, structured strategies. You will support pupils in improving emotional regulation, building confidence, and re-engaging with education.

You will act as a reliable and positive role model, providing stability, encouragement, and clear boundaries for pupils who require strong, consistent support.
