Your new role   As an SEMH Teaching Assistant working through Hays, you''ll support pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, low engagement, trauma related needs or barriers to learning. Your role may include:   Providing 1:1 or small group support to help pupils regulate emotions and access learning  Using deescalation and restorative strategies to promote positive behaviour  Assisting teachers with tailored interventions and personalised learning plans  Building trusting relationships that encourage confidence, independence and resilience  Supporting pupils with additional needs such as ADHD, ASD or attachment difficulties  Working collaboratively with pastoral teams, behaviour specialists and external agencies   ...</description>
