SEMH Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEMH Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of primary schools in Hillingdon and nearby areas, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.Duties as SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Assist with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive relationships
• Help manage classroom behaviour and transitions
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to monitor pupil progress
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in UK primary schools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• HLTA qualification or relevant training is desirable
• Passionate about inclusive education and pupil development
