SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: NG2 Sneinton - Easily reached from Nottingham City Centre, Mapperley, West Bridgford, and Carlton
Day Rate: -(Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are looking for a resilient and passionate SEMH TA to join a welcoming KS2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with behaviour support experience who is committed to helping pupils build confidence and make progress.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group SEMH support in KS2
  • Supporting de-escalation and regulation strategies when challenges arise
  • Building positive relationships through mentoring and daily check-ins
  • Assisting teachers with routines, transitions, and behaviour plans
  • Contributing to personalised support strategies (training provided)

We''re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school or youth setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to encourage resilience
  • A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Knowledge of behaviour support strategies (Team Teach or MAPA desirable)
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
