SEMH Teaching Assistant – Barnet

Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a special school in Barnet, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted SEMH support to individuals and groups.

• Assist with behaviour management in and out of the classroom.

• Build strong relationships to encourage positive engagement.

• Support teachers in delivering inclusive learning.

Requirements:

• Previous SEMH or alternative provision experience desirable.

• Patience, resilience, and adaptability.

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
