SEMH Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) Bexley Full-Time Immediate Start Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) based within a welcoming school in Bexley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive and committed to making a real difference in the lives of pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support. The Role: Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom Helping to manage behaviour positively and consistently Building strong relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN or behavioural needs Calm, empathetic and resilient approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to remain professional in challenging situations Team Teach or behaviour management training is desirable but not essential What''s on Offer: Full-time position with an immediate start Supportive and experienced SEN team Opportunity to gain valuable experience within an SRP setting Rewarding role where you can genuinely impact students'' progress and wellbeing ..... full job details .....
