SEMH Teachers Needed

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH school in Birmingham, supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment, focused on building trust, resilience and positive outcomes for every learner.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teacher on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with pupils with SEMH needs, delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour effectively and supporting students to achieve both academically and emotionally.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude with a passion for supporting vulnerable learners
